Pete Scazzero
Founder of Emotionally Healthy Discipleship
Pete has spent over 26 years developing Emotionally Healthy Discipleship as a local church pastor, a thinker, and a writer. Pete is the world’s recognized expert and practitioner on the integration of spirituality and emotional health. His books are used around the world in seminaries and academic institutions such as Harvard Divinity School, Asian Theological Seminary, and Fuller Theological Seminary.

Pastor of Hope NYC and Co-Founder of the New City Network
Drew serves on Part-Time Staff with Emotionally Healthy Discipleship. In addition, Drew is the Founding Pastor of Hope NYC, a multi-campus church. He is also the Co-Founder of the New City Network, a network of urban churches that value multi-ethnicity, Spirit-filled ministry, emotional health, and mission.

Jordan, along with his wife Jessica, is the founder and lead pastor of Renaissance Church, a diverse Christian community in Harlem, NY where people of different cultures come together to serve the community and to follow Jesus.

Where Will the Experience Take Place?
The School of Emotionally Healthy Leadership sessions are facilitated live over Zoom. Download the Zoom app for free at Zoom.us.
What’s Required of Participants?
You must commit to:
- Attend ALL 16 Sessions (2 Semesters)
- Read The Emotionally Healthy Leader before the course begins.
- Do weekly readings of assigned chapters from books.
- Practice the Daily Office (silence/devotionals 2x daily)
- Meet with your Table Leader for one-on-one coaching, during each phase.
Why Do I Need to Apply?
Not all pastors and leaders are ready for the commitment this LEADERSHIP SCHOOL requires. The application process helps us determine your readiness and motivation for this unique experience.

Are Course Materials Included?
Course materials and books are not included with the registration fee. We will send you a list of books to purchase upon registration
When and How Do I Pay?
An online payment link will be emailed to you after your application is accepted.
Course Sessions
What Happens If I Can’t Attend a Session?
In the case of an emergency or unavoidable conflict, you are permitted to miss one session per phase. A link to the Zoom recording of the session will be available upon request.
What Does Each Session Look Like?
Each session is facilitated by the Emotionally Healthy Discipleship Teaching Team. It is a blend of live instruction, breakout groups with your table, individual reflection, and the practice of skills.
What Happens After the LEADERSHIP SCHOOL?
Once you complete a semester of the LEADERSHIP SCHOOL, you will be invited to reapply for the next semester. Upon completion of the full LEADERSHIP SCHOOL, you will be invited into next steps to bring transformation to your entire church and ministry.
